Such an AMAZING little place! I have been wanting to come here for years and finally got around to doing it and I'm so upset I didn't get here sooner! Taylorville has a gem in this little restaurant! The burgers are SO BIG! A double is more than enough to beyond fill a grown man! I'll be coming back for sure! The 2 employees that were working the day I went were so awesome!

Great small town food. Would definitely eat again. The Horseshoe is a must to try.

Best tasting food in the area by farI've tried alot of different items on the menu and I've been satisfied with everything. The hamburger horseshoe with the white cheese sauce is absolutely delicious!! Milkshakes are mouthwatering. I frequently go here and never get tired of their food.

Bill's Toasty always gets the job done after a night out with friends! Took my fiance there for the first time. She said it stood up to the hype and she can't wait to go back! Double cheeseburger and jalapeno poppers!

1st time here, place was a small hole in the wall but well worth it!! Got the pancake, it's as big as a dinner plate and one inch thick! So good!!

Too expensive! But really good sandwiches..but a lot of money for a double or a triple hamburger! I will go to golden corral and eat there before I go back to Bill's..tasty but spent 30 plus on 3 hamburgers!!!

Old school. Tiny little diner. Bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich on Texas toast was awesome. Just like at home. Cash only.

If you love burgers, you'll love this place ! Horse shoes and corn nuggets are awesome too. Great service, great people, great food, know why it's been there for 80 years. Strongly recommend to give it a try if you're ever in Taylorville.

Always in once a week. Our server is so kind and funny. He always knows what we want and cooks great food. I look forward to the night we go each week.

The food was wonderful but the staff was the best. Fun and friendly folks. I highly recommend a stop here.

Yep, please keep this amazing place a secret. It's very small and has limited seating. Each order cooked in the order its received, slow and freshly made. Burgers are definitely their signature items with handmade milkshakes and malts coming in a strong second. So now you know to keep quiet so the lo g lines are avoided.

The food is excellent every time I go here, absolutely fantastic, if you're into greasy or fried foods. It feels like your typical low-end diner, complete with high chairs along a long counter, as well as small booths on the other wall. The restaurant as a whole is very small, but it doesn't accommodate a large amount of patrons, so it's certainly something one can overlook. If one is willing to overcome a somewhat grease-stained environment and servers sometimes turned curt after dealing with rowdy guests, it can make for one of the best dining experiences, in my opinion.

Excellent I have not been there in a while and it has not changed still the best thank you french fry could have been cooked a little bit longer but other than that no complaints

Why does lettuce, mayo, pickle, ketchup mean add onion and tomato?? After 30 yrs of food service and culinary school I'm amazed no one here has heard of food allergies. If they weren't the only place open all night......that only takes cash.......

Stopped in for the first time. Cheeseburger and shake were terrific. This place hasn't changed since it was built in the 1930s. Very cool little place. A throwback to the old days.Friendly waitress/cook.

Very good hamburger! Bring cash and a cool story because this place is so small you are going to make a friend if you like it or not. Seriously this place sets 10 people! The food is amazing and there are a lot of to go orders. Has the feel of a old dinner/soda shop. Will definitely be back!

Food is delicious every time and reasonably priced. The service is great even when they are slammed. I always get the ham and cheese omelette or the hot cheese balls. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast horseshoe and he loved it.
